Melissa McCormick is host of The Real i (a web culture related show targeting adults in their 20's, 30's and 40's) and owner/director of Plug (a small film production company that takes a modern and unique approach to producing selective commercial marketing videos and documentaries).
As a former reporter/producer in two top 50 television markets, McCormick has covered everything from hard news to features, appeared on network news and interviewed presidential candidates. She is a two time Emmy nominated and one time Emmy Award winning reporter.
McCormick jumped on the internet bandwagon to provide young, modern professionals like herself with the latest web culture in a quick, easy to watch format.
Born and raised approximately one half hour Southeast of Pittsburgh, McCormick attended Greensburg Salem High School and graduated from The University of Pittsburgh where she double majored in Communication and Political Science. She loves spending time with her family and friends, running, relaxing at the beach and traveling. She also enjoys recycling old furniture.
McCormick currently lives in Charleston, SC. She is always looking for new and exciting opportunities!
